Cupping Therapy
拔罐
Cupping is an ancient healing therapeutic treatment that relaxes local muscles and fascia in order to improve pain and joint mobility disorders caused by chronic muscle tightness and stiffness. Suction from cups can provide effects such as clearing and activating the meridians in our bodies, promoting blood circulation, relieving pain, and reducing tension.

Dry Cupping
气罐
Manually pumping air out of cups placed on affected areas in 5-15min rounds; to release muscle stiffness, relax fascia tension, and reduce pains.
Fire Cupping
火罐
Using flame and heat to draw oxygen out of cups in creating a vacuum effect when placed on the skin; to draw up toxins, improve blood circulation, and ease pains.

Wet Cupping
血罐
Also known as bloodletting or hijama. Using needles to lightly puncture your skin before placing the cups; to release of toxins through the suctioned blood captured in the cup.
Moving Cupping
走罐
Also known as running cupping. Applying lotion and oil for the ease and comfort of cups to glide along the meridians; to massage a larger area of the fascia layers without releasing the suction.

What do the cupping marks mean?
In the local skin after cupping, varying degrees of redness and swelling can be seen,
which are reactions of blood gathering locally.
The different colours and markings actually provide us insights about your body!

Healthy Blood Circulation
mild redness

Toxins Accumulation
spotting with redness

Excess Dampness
water droplets

Moderate Stagnation
moderate redness

Qi and Blood Deficiency
no redness

Severe Stagnation
deep red bruises
Circular cupping marks are temporary and may be visible for up to 7 days depending on your level of stagnation in that area! But they will eventually fade - so not to worry.
